Technical, Skill and SSG Session plan to practice passing, receiving with the main aim of improving movement off the ball increasing speed of pass/ release and decision making when to pass.

Turn Technique - 1. Eye on the ball. 2. Decision, Change in Direction 3. Contact with Surface (feint) if required. 4. Head up 5. Low Centre of gravity. 6. Change of Direction. 7. Accelerate into Space.
Interventions - coach to observe from front or side as layout - judgment at the time to view each players technique waling around the group.
+ vary the turns / moves increasing in difficulty each time the players are fluent with each technique.
+ / - move forward or backwards with the 'layers ' / technique based on observations.+ using left and right where possible for technical balance.
- / + reduce / increase speed of the session.
+ mini-competition at the end. 20 balls placed between the two squares 10 in each. Race for each team to collect a ball perform a turn and return the ball back to their cone. Two per player only - each player must have two balls by their cone before they sit down.

Welsh Way Moves
- L-move : Ensure ball is a step ahead - Put foot on the ball - use instep to push the ball behind the other leg (i.e. Cryuff turn) - accelerate away.
- Pirouette: Ensure ball is a step ahead - Put foot on the ball - drag ball away with the opposite foot - rotating the body 360 degrees - accelerate away.
- Stop turn: Ensure ball is a step ahead - Put foot on the ball - roll the ball behind - turn body 180 degrees facing the opposite way-accelerate away.
