Football/Soccer Session (Moderate): Spring Season - Stage 1 - Week 4 - 2v1/2v2

Ball mastery: players will be in lines like in the draw: player will dribble the ball up, make a turn and try to score right after. 

Every time they are able to score, they get +1 point. After taking the shoot, they go get the ball and go to the end of the line. 

Coach will make sure they will use both feet to dribble, do the turn/move and the shot. Each foot they will do for 1 minute, 1:30 and then switch to the next one. 

Moves:

- inside turn

- outside turn

- roll over

- fake drop/fake turn

- la croqueta

- step over

Coaching points: keep your heads up; change your directions quick; accelerate after doing the move against the defender; inside foot to shoot the ball to try to score.

Time:12-15 min

Screen 3

Split the fields in two like in the draw: each half will have a defender protecting the goal. Two players from the opposite side will dribble the ball up and when they cross the midfield line, they try to score in a 2v1 situation. After the play, they get the ball and go to the opposite lines. As soon as the ball goes out, two players from the opposite side will dribble the ball and attack the opposite defender + goalie.

The game needs to be played in a fast pace, as soon as the opposite ball goes out, the next players should start going. 

After a time, change the defenders.

Coaching points: if you have the space, dribble up and attract the defender; if you dont have the ball, make sure you will be a good option for your team mate constantly; if you have the space, take the shot.
