4v1 Transition Rondos
Progressing a simple Rondo using transitional movement into team game.

Once the team of attackers have successfully completed 5 passes they must move to an adjacent square whilst still keeping possession.
The blue team in possession have successfully completed 5 passes and are in transition to the free square.

5v1 Rondo in one square whilst the remaining 4 red team wait in the next square.
As soon as the red defender wins possession of the ball he can pass to a team mate in the adjacent square and now the 5 reds keep possession against a blue defender.
Progression:
If the attacking team make more than 5 passes send in a second defender.

Encourage a quick transition

The red defender has won possession and quickly passes to a team mate in the next square. The blue player who was at fault for losing the ball now transfers to the square to defend and the game continues.

Game starts as a simple 4v1 Rondo.
Swap out the defnding player with one of the attackers when he wins possession.
Progessions can include:
Limiting the number of touches. Not allowing the players to pass back to player they received the ball from. Make them use exactly 3 touches.
Coaching points:
Receive the ball on the back foot. Make sure your touch takes you away from the defender. Be aware of your team mates positions.
