Game 8v7 (30 mins)
Organization:
- 7v6+GK organization
- 4 rounds 5minX1min
- Grey team: Andrew/Drake, Pedro/Arie, Alessandro/Brandon, Oscar/Liam, Mateo/Matthew, Tor, Yunus.
- Orange team: Jairo/Mateusz/Geison, Peter/Marcano, Lenin/Spencer/Randy, Alexander/Rome
Instructions:
- The game starts with the orange team making three-four passes until connecting with the AC to send the long ball.
- Defending team must drop to win the aerial duel and second ball, if they do so they must make four passes or use the goalkeeper before finishing in mini-goals or dribble and cross the last line.
- If the attackers win the second ball they can finish on goal.
Coaching Points:
- Body shape to defend space/long ball.
- Identify who will perform the aerial duel while the rest of the team is covering and/or ready to win the second ball.
- Control the chaos by maintaining possession and identifying when to verticalize the attack.
