Hamline University Women's Soccer Methodology Session
Objective: Improve's team ability to exploit space behind and in front of the opposition back line.
Session Reflection:
My goal is provide as much context to the session to link our why behind our methodology. Our context is different to other programs, coaches, and levels of play. I love sharing exercises - but for me the most important party is knowing the WHY behind what is being done in training.

Exercise: 4v4+4
Objective: Application of individual habits to progress / Locate and progress Free Player
Set-up:
- Space: 18x25 (2 Grids) - Pipers help rotate and act as subs!
- Process:
- Neutral - CB, HM, HM, ST
- 4 x 4 min (90 sec recovery)
- Rd 1: 10 passes = 1 Goal
- Rd 2: Target to Target = 1 Goal
- Rd 3 & 4: Target to Target for 1 touch finish = 1 Goal (can use mini goals or full size goals)
