High Press with trap (Left)

Force Goalkeeper to play to their right hand centreback. We Press to win the ball. 100% sprint and win the ball. Our 11 forces their centreback inside to where our numbers are. Our 10 and 8 will double team the defensive midfielder as that will be the target. If the Full back drops inside, we communicate and make sure they are taken care of. Likely will be the joint responsibility of the 3,6, and 4.

Low Block 4-4-1-1

We drop into a 4-4-1-1 formation creating 8-10 yards between our lines. Move in a compact unit side to side until the opposition enters our half, once that happends, we move in a first and second defender rotation, whilst maintaining two blocks of 4 behind our press.

If we see the opportunity to go press higher, if we force them to go backwards, we go together as a unit and it has to be communicated from our keeprs, all the way up the the strikers.
