Description

Organisation (Practice Layout & Transition)

Single area split into thirds. With the first team players a minimum area of 45m in length.

Transition - to move the cones making up the center zone, this could be made smaller meaning the two end zones are bigger.

As the session progresses I will make the middle zone bigger meaning the attacking player is dribbling further with the ball.

Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):

the players in the side zones need to play 5 passes and transfer the ball through the middle zone by dribbling the ball to the team on the opposite side in order to score a goal.

Progressions - 10 passes - allow one player in the central zone to make a tackle.

Regressions  - make the center zone smaller and the side zones bigger. The defending player is not allowed to chase the attacking player with the ball. (semi-passive)

Challenges, Conditions or Targets:

Individual challenges could be to score by transferring the ball by dribbling passed a player in the central zone.
