Football/Soccer Session (Moderate): Shooting Activity

Screen 1

Set-Up:

- 4 cones with 2-3 players on each cone plus 1 GK

- Each player on the red cones has a ball each.

Instructions:

- 1) Player dribbles up and shoots before turning to receive from player 2

- 2) Player 2 plays a give and go with one before shooting. After the shot player 1 and 2 runs around the orange cone.

- 3) As player 1 and 2 runs around the orange cone player 3 drives down the line and crosses in for 1 or 2 to finish.

- As 3 is driving down the line a blue defender applies pressure from behind.

Coaching Points: 

- Quality of shot

- Quality of touch out of feet

- Do players time their runs when running around the orange cone.
