Animation 1
This is looking at simple movement when the back 3 have possession of the ball
- When the GK has the ball the CD should be at an angle to the left or right of the GK to receive the pass.
- When the pass is made to the CD the RCD and LCD drop and get wide to stretch the pitch. The GK also drops makes an angle.
- The LCM or RCM depending on what side the CD is drops in at an angle to become an option. "What ever one is furthest from the ball"
- When the ball is played to the RCD or the LCD this is a trigger for more movement higher up the park.
- DEFENCE MOVEMENT, when the RCB receives the ball the CB drops on the angle to give depth.
- The GK also drops a little with the LCB tucking in a little bit.
- MIDEFEILD MOVEMENT, The RCM drops-in to the middle of the park creating and angle, The LCM goes higher, the RWB drops and gets as wide a possible with the LWB getting as high and wide as possible to stretch the park.
- FORWARD MOVEMENT, the RCF comes towards the ball, the LCF comes across taking up the space created by the RCF and the ACM moves forward to become the second striker.
This basic movement when the ball is played to the LCD or RCD. the movement is to be positive and dynamic with the intention of moving the opposition about and creating space. This should move the opposition about and create space and passing triangles all over the park.
