Players will be work on receive the ball in an open body shape to penetrate ball forward. Players must recognize triggers and cues on when to support the player on the ball when building from the back. Being able to move and create passing lanes as the ball is traveling. Players must be comfortable maintaining the ball in the defensive third and creating the opportunities to build out from the back.

Instructions
1. GK will distribute ball to attacking team of 3
2. attacking team in possession must build out and attempt to penetrate in either 2 gates
3. if defensive team of 2 wins ball they must attempt to score on goal
Coaching Points
-identify open space
-communication (demand ball)
-weight of pass (accurate passes that are smooth on the groundand to the proper foot)
-signal to desired foot to receive ball
-Open body shape and receive across body
-Speed of play- receive with inside of one foot and quickly passwith inside opposite
-timing of support runs
-off the ball movement as the ball travels

Instructions
1. Attacking team of 3 plus GK must attempt to build out and score in one of the 3 pug goals
2. defending team must attempt to win ball and score a goal against GK
3. if the attacking team scores then they stay on and same applies for the defending team
Coaching Points
-Use width to build possession out of the back
-open up passing lanes to player in possession
-Open bodyshape at all times to be able to see ball and target to pass to
-Receive ball across body and faced up whenever possible -
-take1st touch to set up next action
-Movement to create early close support at good angles/distance based on pressure
-Play a forward/penetrating pass whenever it is on
-strong side vs weak side (where the ball and movement relative to position of ball)
-Goalkeeper plays as supporting attacker to help build out
-Be patient- don't force ball forward when well defended, play backwards and change area of attack
-GK must communicate with his players
