Explanation
2v1 with an attacking overload. Defending team passes the ball out to the attackers and proceeds to defend the goal. If the defender wins the ball, they attack the mini goals to score. Can be progressed to 2v2, 2v3. In Possession focus on player drawing the defender to create space for supporting (+1) player. Out of Possession focus on blocking passing lanes and maintaining correct defensive position.
Progressions & Regressions:
Prog 1 - Add defender for 2v2 or 2v3
Prog 2 - 2 touch for Attackers
Reg - Add extra attacker for 3v1

3 Goals for defender scoring

Duration - 2x 9 minutes
Explanation
6v6 SSG plus GK's. Pitch is split into 3 with larger portion in the centre. Start with 2x players in defending third, 3x players in the middle third and 1x player in final third. When the attacker enters the final third, 1x player from the central third can enter to support the attacking player in possession creating a 2v2.

Prog -
Reg 1 - 2 attacking players can enter the final third to support the attacker in possession
Reg 2 - Defenders in final third cannot tackle, only press

Players dribble in towards the mannequin, move off left or right to create space to get a shot off. 2 goals and playing lanes can be introduced to reduce standing players and increase ball rolling time. Focus on shooting technique/mechanics and high repetitions.
