Set Up: 7x7 grid
Desription: 4v1 Rondo,(adjust space according to the ability), Attract defenders by dribbling and to free up space for teammates. Defender can steal the ball. Rotate the defenders. FOR BASIC GROUPS: Have the defender only be able to intercept the pass.

Description:
Blue start with a ball attack in a 3v2 situation. Use the outside channels as a reference to encourage with. 2 ways you can rotate players. 1. ball always starts with the blue team and switch roles after a time limit. 2. Advanced groups can have 3v2 going blue against purple and after ball goes out of bounds then a purple player comes on with a ball, all blues run off to the sides and 2 new blues come on to create a 3v2 for the purple team.
Coaching Points:
1. open body with first touch
2. movement off ball
3. communication
4. weight and accurate passes
5. composure on the ball
6. when to take touch and hold the ball and when to pass
Progression: If a group of 2 score they stay on and the opposite side starts the attack.
Or ball ust go to one or both outside players before you can score.

Set Up: 30L x 40W or bigger if ability and space permits.
Description: 3v2. Play starts with the GK 2 outside backs and center mid player (Blue) in the attack with neutral try to build and score in 2 small goals. 2 purple defenders can score on big goal if they win the ball.

Progression:
Give a pass limit before you can score out of the back, and time limit to score if you are the defending team when they win it.

Set Up: open space, players in groups of 2, then move into groups of 3.
Description: 1. Players in pair pass and recieve then move around the space freely.
2. Then have the players try to recieve the pass and change direction.
3. Players then try to recieve the ball between (gap or space) 2 other players.
4. Now use groups of 3, players try to recieve ball going toward 3rd player, take 1st touch to open body.
5. the 3 now try combination plays simple (wall passes, overlaps, give and go's)
Coaching Points (Technical):
1. Keep ball in front of body, keep upper body over the ball
2. Plant or suppoting leg: Beside the ball, shift weight, toes pointed toward target.
3. Passing leg: toes pointed outward, ankle locked, use inside (instep) of foot, follow through
Progression: Ask players to change direction with there first touch not just back toward target
