Football/Soccer Session (Academy Sessions): Combination Play

Intro (10 mins)

Organization:

Set up as showed above, dimension can be adapted based on level and number of the players.

Instructions:

3 teams (red-blue-yellow) in each zone A-B.

Yellow starts as a neutrals by playing with the team in ball possession

Blue and red play aganst each other and they have to try to connect the ball with the yellows.

Switch the targets every #minutes

Points:

-1 point straith pass to the targets

-2 points after double pass with the nuetrals

-3 points afetr double pass with the teammate (see situation in zone B)

Coaching Points/Questions:

-quality/accuracy of the pass - What we can do to make sure that we are playing a good pass for my teammates?

-complete a wall ball - What we have to do to make sure that we are compliting the wall ball?

Regressions:

-one each team in the middle: means red and blue start with one ball each in Zone A-B and they have to connect as fast as possible the ball with thetargets (yellow)

Conditioned Game (25 mins)

Organization:

2 big goals

Instructions:

2 teams formation 1 2 3 1

man to man in the red zone

2 points by scoring with wall ball play.
