Technical Practice: 10 Mins
Organization:
Ensure the group is split up accordingly with numbers and ensure the spacing is well organized. (If full court is available use it as the spacing will be easier to manage.)
Coaching Points:
Make it known for the group that they can dribble to either side of the cone and shoot or they can pass to the coach standing in front (whatever they feel mor comfortable doing). Once they pass the coach they must shoot, but it must be behind the line (marked with cones).
This is to give them freedom to choose how they approach the shot while ensuring there isn't too much repetitiveness to the drill.
Progressions / Adaptations:
The progression would be to bring the line back a bit further to increase difficulty of the drill for the kids.
The adaptation is if the kids are struggling, move the line closer or to take the line away completely to allow the kids freedom to go as close as they feel comfortable.
Judge this accordingly to each groups skill level.

Game Related Practice: 15 mins
Organizational / Instructions:
The group will be split into 2 groups in a line.
Each group will have to run to the basket and score before they can run back to the line.
When they return they must run to the back of the line, and must pass the ball person to person until it gets to the person at the front then repeat that process.
When every member of the team has scored they must sit down with the ball at the front.
First team sat wins.
Coaching Points:
Ensure they keep close control with the ball as to not lose the ball.
Take as many attempts as necessary to score a basket.
Ensure everyone in the line is passed with the ball.
Progression:
Assign a coach to each line that they must dribble past
Coach puts minimal defensive effort its only to give them a minor obstacle before they shoot
Adaptation:
Take away the competition aspect and ensure that everyone can use the drill productively
Once they regain confidence re introduce the competition.

Play 5 3 minute games alternating teams accordingly
Coaching Points:
Invoke 5 pass rule to ensure everyone can be included in the game
Carry over everything learned from the drills previous.
Progressions / Adaptations:
Mix up teams to maximise fairness.

Warmup 5 mins
Organizational / Instructions:
Space out throughout the base of the court and make sure everyone has a ball.
The group will dribble to half court regarding whatever speed the coach chooses (Walk, Jog, Sprint).
When returning to original line the coach should shout a different speed for the group.
Coaching Points: Make sure everyone has enough space to avoid collision
When the coach calls out the speed, ensure everyone sticks to that speed
This is to allow the kids to become familiar to the ball and start to develop the hand-eye coordination for the drills to follow.
Progressions / Adaptations:
If numbers are too high, split the group in half and put both groups at opposite ends of the court.
