1 v 1 to receive with back to goal
Player plays ball into attacking player who tries to turn and score in the goal. If they win the ball, defender dribbles across endline for point.
Coaching points:
- Use of body to protect ball
- Can you turn with 1st touch?
- Surface to receive
- Positive 1st touch

Smash and Grab
Players try to keep their ball away from the defenders. Defenders try to kick balls out of the grid. Upon losing their ball, the attackers can join in and help your team-mates keep the ball away from the defenders.
Coaching points:
- Decision making (when and where to shield vs pass)
- Skill moves
- Where's the space?
- How to move the ball into space?

Finishing Station (emphasis on strike for power /instep/)
1. Players dribble to cone and use a skill past the cone and then shoot at the goal. Player then goes in goal and then gk goes to the back of the line...
2. Player performs give and go and then shoots at goal.
3. Player receives the ball from start point and dunnies the ball and then turns and shoots at goal
Coaching point:
- Technique of shot
Ankle locked
Toe down / heel up
Non-kicking foot placed next to ball pointing at target
Follow through for power
Approach at angle
- Aim for corners

Players are dribbling in the grid performing a variety of ball mastery tasks (toe taps , boxes, foundations). ADD in Skill move
- They then try to do a skill move at the cone (competition)
- Change Direction (change) / Switch ball (switch)
