Develop attacking play through midfield

Area - Half field
Red team midfield will try to play link up between the defenders and strikers. Red team midfielder will try to feed the ball to the strikers if not possible then they can play sideward or backward. After passing midfielders needs to provide options for passing or to provide support.
Yellow team will try to hold the attacker and try to avoid the attackers to score
Progression - Add a CDM in yellow team also he will act as a target man for yellow team if yellow team wins the ball they can score by passing the ball to the target man.
Coaching points :- Maintain triangle and diamond shape to combine, play forwards at the right moment, don’t force it, body shape on the half-turn to play either direction, quick 1-2 touch play to lessen time for defenders to react, angle and distance of support.
