Intervals:

Rules:
MUST receive ball with foot that is farthest from passer (open body position).
MUST create angle by sliding to nearest cone.
MUST play 2 touch.
MUST say name of who you are passing to.
Coaching Points:
+ Pace of pass --> we need to get used to hard passes in tight situations
+ Drawing defender in to open up space for others
+ Support angle is more important than distance (GET TO CONE TO GET FIELD IN FRONT OF YOU)
+ Work opposite the player across from you (be at different levels of height)

12x8 (2 grids working side by side)
2 groups of players (1 defending, 1 attacking)
Activity:
Defending team starts with ball and serves into attacker. 1v1 to score in pugg goal.
Central cone is meant to encourage defender to get at least that far while ball is traveling.
Progression:
+ 2v2
Coaching Points:
+ Travel while ball is traveling. Must close as much ground as possible.
+ Bend run to cut off goal (endline in this case)
+ Use sideline as another defender - reduce amount of space have to defend
+ How does pass to attacker change the pressure (slow/fast, to the side)?
