Organization:
1. 20 x 15 yard area as shown
2. 8 players (4 attackers, 4 defenders)
3. 1 ball per group
Instructions:
1. Players play four 1v1 games at the same time
2. Defending players can only take the ball from their partner
3. Attacking players can score in any of three goals at on the opposite end of the area
4. Attacking players must dribble through the goal to score (not shoot)
Coaching Points:
1. Drive at defenders front foot
2. Keep ball moving to unbalance defender
3. Speed of play
4. Protect the ball when pressured is tight
5. Use upper body for disguise
Progressions:
1. P - Time limit on attacking play (10 seconds to score)
2. R - Add neutral players, combine with players in possession

1. 20 x 20 yard area set up as shown
2. Divide the group into two teams
3. Lots of balls with the coach
4. 2 different color reaction gates either side
of each pugg goal, set up as shown
Instructions:
1. First two players stand behind their pugg goal and wait for the coaches command
2. The coach will call ‘red’ or ‘blue’.
3. The player has to react and run through the corresponding color gate
4. First player into the area receives the ball and gets to be the attacker. The other player is the defender
5. Objective is to score in oppositions goal
6. Game ends when a goal is scored or the ball leaves the area
7. Next two player step forward and wait for the coach to restart the game

1. Close control
2. Use of different surfaces to dribble
3. Head up and observe the space
4. Attack defenders front foot
5. Execution of moves
6. Accelerate away
Progressions:
1. P – Players react to the opposite color that the coach says
2. R – The coach feeds in two balls and it is a race to score (no pressure)

Organization:
1. 30 x 30 yard area set up as shown
2. 12 players split into four teams
3. Multiple balls with the coach
Instructions:
1. Players are divided into four teams and given a team name
2. Each player is given a number 1, 2 or 3
3. Each team has 3 lives
4. The coach plays a ball into the area and calls out a number
5. The player with the corresponding number enter the game
6. Objective is to score in one of the other three teams goal
7. When a goal is scored that team loses a life
8. When all lives are lost that team must turn their goal over – however they are not out of the game, they just
cannot win the world cup
9. When a goal is scored or the ball leaves the area the game is over and the next round restarted by the coach
passing in another ball and calling the next number
10. Last team remaining is the winner of the world cup

Organization: Each player in the penalty box with a ball ( If box to big or not enough players use 6 yard line)
Instructions: Each player has a ball and they dribble around
Once coach says "knock out" players have to try to kick other players ball outside the box
Last player with the ball wins.
