  • Attack v Defence set up.
  • Aim is to play the ball wide and utilise the full back and winger v defending full back overload.
  • Coaching Point - If they haven't achieved the overload and are struggling to attack down the line, ensure midfielders are providing an option so the ball can be switched to the other side.
  • Coaching Point - Don't always look to switch the ball, if the ball through the middle is on and you can create a 3v2 with an attacking CM/winger, the 10 and the ST then that should be first option to be penetrative through the middle of the pitch.
