Description
Dribble the ball toward the cone, beat the defender and take a shot on goal. Going on both sides, 1 turn on each side. GK makes a save, on receiving, and needs to throw it to the other side to one of the assistant coaches (Distribution)
Variation
Wall pass to the player who then takes a shot. One who lays off becomes the shooter in the next round. Going on both sides, 1 turn on each side
Progression
- Make corner zones using markers to target
- Add a GK
Points
Each player gets 1 point for scoring with their laces. Inside foot not allowed
3 points for scoring with their weaker foot
Blocks
120 secs x 4 blocks with 60 secs rest for each variation (25 mins total)
Coaching Points
same as above
- You only need an a bit of space, don't need to beat the defender to shoot
- After taking a touch look ahead before shooting
- Go for the rebound after shooting
- Layoff needs to be in the direction of the run of the finisher
Condition: - Need to shoot before entering the box
Challenge: - How many in bottom corner? , Atleast hit the target with weaker foot, Can you shoot in 1 touch after layoff
Target: - Score atleast 3 times in 1 block
Questions: -
- How to set the target to shoot?
- Where should your non-kicking foot be?
- Where should you hit the ball? which part of your foot?
- How to make the kicking foot hard? ankles lose or locked?
- How to keep your head when shooting? over or under?

Description
2 v 1 + GK, with the defenders pressing the attackers. Attackers need to score in the big goal and defenders in the small goal or gate. GK is involved. 5 points for scoring outside the box
Points: -
5 for scoring from outside the box
3 for scoring with the weaker foot.
Progression
- Add another defender inside the box
- Add another defender who presses from behind after 5 secs to increase intensity
- Attackers need to score in 6 secs
Blocks
180 secs x 5 blocks with 60 secs rest for each variation (20 mins total)
Coaching Points
same as above
- Free space present, take a shot. No need to wait for the defender to press.
- You only need a bit of space, don't need to beat the defender to shoot
- After taking a touch look ahead before shooting
- Diagonal runs by the other attacker to either receive or create space for the ball possessor
- Go for the rebound after shooting
- Layoff needs to be in the direction of the run of the finisher

Description
3 v 3 + GK. Both teams have a chance to score in the goal. The team with the ball needs to score in the big goal. Blue team needs to score in the smaller goal but have only 10 secs to score. After every block the attacking team and defending team rotate roles.
Points: -
5 for scoring from outside the box
3 for scoring with the weaker foot.
Progression
- Need to score in 15 secs themselves
Blocks
180 secs x 6 blocks with 90 secs rest for each variation (25 mins total)

Description
Multiple gates are present in the box. Every player with the ball needs to dribble past 2 gates and then take a shot on goal. Be careful in collecting the balls from the goal.
Progression
Points
Each player gets 1 point for scoring with their laces. Inside foot not allowed

Area Size
20 x 20 m for the gates zone.
Blocks
120 secs x 4 blocks with 60 secs rest. Start with Dynamic warmup and then proceed to this. During rest breaks keep working on this especially on hamstrings and quads.
