Organisation
- 25x15 area split up into thirds
- 1 team of 9 and 1 teams of 4
Timing
- 15-20 minutes
Rules/explanation
- Reds will to play 4v2
- To transfer to other side, they can play through the man in the middle or transfer directly
- If they play through the man in the middle = 5 push ups
- If they transfer directly = 2 push ups

- Back and middle 3rds
- Red: Carlos/Nate, Tom, Sam, Julien/Bush, Mikey, Kohen/Nate
- Blue: Jimmy/Wes, Rowan, Riley/Harvey, Lachie M, Hayden
Timing
- 20-25 minutes
Rules/explanation
- Reds will start from their GK, blues will start every 4-5 balls
- If reds can play through each line ie back 4, 6's and then 10 then score = 2 points
- If blues can win the ball in the midfield then score = 2 points
- Only back 4 and blues can go into back 3rd when red have the ball
Team task
- To pick the right times to play through out midfield in the back and middle thirds
Coaching cues
- GK
- Play out where possible bu tit must be done QUICKLY
- When playing, help your teammates by playing the ball where you want them taking their first touch and give them an easy ball to deal with
- Back 4
- Look for the furthest pass forward as soon as your receive that ball
- If you can't, can you find a midfielder who can face forward?
- If you can't, look to put the ball in behind their back 4
- Nothing straight or square
- NO RISKS
- 2/3
- When receiving from a CB or GK, take your first touch forward if possible so that your second touch can be a drive or a forward pass. If you take your touch backwards, your only options will be to play backwards
- 3/4
- Limit touches when playing out unless:
- If you have space in front of you when receiving the ball, attack the space to draw a player out
- 6/8
- If you have a man on you, stay out of a passing lane and don't ask for the ball
- If you can't get on the ball, empty out as you might create space for someone else or open a passing lane into a higher player

- 10
- Get in between the lines of their back 4 and midfield
- Don't drop in asking for the ball
- If you can't get on the ball, empty out as you might create space for someone else or open a passing lane into a higher player
