Organization:

Instructions:
- A plays to B and defends. B plays to C. C attacks.
- Defender cannot close down until player B's pass.
Coaching Points:
- Positive 1st touch (drive at defender, makes it easier to unbalance defender)
- Identification of 1vs 1 (space behind defender)
- Unbalance defender with body movement (Use of body to sell the fake)
- Final touch of move bigger (allows head to come up)
Progressions/Regressions:
- Change moment defender can close down.

-Attacking vs Defending team
Instructions:
- Defending team looks to play out of the back to the blue target player, and switch to become the attacking team.
-Attacking team looks to go to goal and score.

- Quality of pass / first touch.

Phase 2.1: Unopposed Technical (20 mins)
Organization:
- As shown. Groups of 3.
Instructions:
- First player in line dribbles to the blue line, executes a roll step, dribles to the end white line makes a turn and passes the ball to the next player in line.
- Next player begins his dribble on eye contact and performs the same as above.
Coaching Points:
- Entry 1 – Dribbling with the ball on the safe side (away from the defender)
- Entry 2 – Slow down, control dribble on approach
- Entry 3 – Head up to see the field
- Execution 1 – Drag the ball across the body with sole of the foot
- Execution 2 – Step over the top of the ball with the opposite foot
- Execution 3 – Angle of body so that the ball comes out in a forward motion
- Execution 4 – Flick the ball with the same foot which you rolled with
- Execution 5 – Take the ball past the defender with inside of the opposite foot
- Exit 1 – Angle of touch out of the feet (helps with next action)
- Exit 2 – Distance of touch
