Organization: As above. One grid 25x25. Players in two lines by each goal. Balls with defenders at their goal.
Instructions: Defending players (blue) communicate between themsevles and can pass or dribble the ball into the end zone. Blue player must then stop the ball anywhere in the end zone and make a recoverying run around the goal. Other blue player must delay the two attackers who can go when the blue player stops the ball. Players play 1v2 until recovering defender gets back. Then 2v2 to goal.
Coaching Points: 1) Use lead leg to 'push' attacker to the outside of the grid. 2) Good body position to cut out the pass 3) Communication of defenders to know who the recovering defender is covering

Attacking team (Red) looks to dribble through the gates down the flank for 1 point and pass into the pug for 2 points. Blue looks to win the ball back and go to goal. Red players may advance the ball into the next third by dribbling or passing to a teammate. Blue players can not advance forward into the next third to win the ball but they may recover back into a deeper third to help win the ball back.
Visual ques:
-Touch of player on the ball (big or small)
-Attacker head up or head down
-Distance and speed of recovering player
-Angle of player being pushed or delayed effects the recovery run of player.
-Bad touch (close space/ tackle)
-Negative touch (close space/ Tackle)
-Good body position to cut out the pass
-Communication of defenders to know who the recovering defender is covering
-When to tackle when to delay
-Anticipation of touch

Organization:4 players no ball
Instructions: Player a looks to run past player B and tag the hand of player C. Player B can move side to side along the cone line but not forward or backward. Once player C is tagged they run and try to tag player D who back pedals as fast as the can into the endzone. Player D leaves zone as soon as player C is tagged.
1 point- player A gets past player B
1 point- player B tags player A
1 point- player C tags playe B on closest shoulder
2 points- player C tags player B on the back
