15x15 grid w/5x5 center grid
4 Rounds of 3-4 minutes w/1 minute rest (adjust time to fitness requirements)
Players divided up into corners
2 balls on each corner
At same time first player in each corner dribbles out around their adjacent cone on center grid then passes back to next player in the line they came from
Player then executes exercise at the station they approach
After completing exercise they then go to back of next line and continue
A) side step cones then do 2 footed hop over balls then side step next cones
B) 2 feet in each space on ladder
C) Side step cones
D) 2 feet in and 1 foot out of each space on ladder going across

6-9 players in each grid
2 players start inside grid, each with a ball
Play 45-60 seconds then switch players centrally
Each player with ball passes to a perimeter player then finds the other ball to receive the ball
Play with pace
Heavy work rate
2 touch play if needed

20x20 grid divided into (4) 10x10 grids (14 players)
Grids can be enlarged to accommodate 4v4 in top with 16 players create 4v2
Neutral can be used with 17 players in top grid and 2 defenders moving to create 5v2
Coach at center top of grids with a supply of balls to keep play moving
Coach plays a ball into one of the top grids and a player from the other top grid moves into play grid to create 3v1
Possession team attempts to complete 5 passes then pass to diagonal grid creating a 2v1 to then find the target player
Defending team needs to win ball and pass into their possession grid and then attempt the same as above
Ball out of play goes back to team that would get the ball in normal rules
Successful play the team in possession restarts with possession
Progression:
Target player must play out to 2nd option who then plays back into original possession grid directly or through partner
Combination play in target grid before playing to target player
Can use any player to play into target grid

Teams in outer grids are in possession (green and blue)
Central team (red) sends 3 players into possession grid
Possession team attempts to connect 5 passes and can then send ball across to opposite possession grid. Ball may be played through coned gates on outside which are not defended or through central space which is defended
When defending team wins ball they must pass ball into team mates in central grid. They then move into the possession grid they won the ball and the team that was there moves into central defensive grid
If a possessing team loses possession out of play they move into central defensive grid
Coaching Points:
Possession:
Body position to receive and see the pitch
Movement off of ball to create passing lanes - distance and angles
Pace and accuracy of ball movement
Central player to play inside out / outside in
Loss of possession immediately win ball back before it can be played into central grid
Out of Possession:
Nearest player to ball on immediate press
Supporting defenders get compact with pressing player and deny passing lanes cutting field size down
Central grid players in constant cover/balance - must be engaged and move with the flow of play

Session start time 1 min break and quickly emphasize how play is going / What is working, what needs improvement
