These exercises will fit into a session nicely, if you are encouraging your team to create scoring chances quicker! All three drills require quick repetitions, with plenty of shooting. High repetition, with high intensity!

- Player 1 can play the ball to either Player 2 or 3
- Player 2 (or 3) plays the ball back to Player 1 and supports the play (creating a 2v1)
- Whichever player did not receive the ball, falls in as the defender.
- 2v1 to goal (defender can win ball and attack opposite goal)
- Repeat going the opposite direction
Coaching Points
- Attack defender going at speed, commit defender and either release the ball or take him on
- Must create scoring opportunities in number up scenarios
- Defending - focus on delaying the play and deny any shooting opportunities

- 4v4 to 6v6 free play
- Must score on opponents half
- If shot misses frame, entire team must sprint back and touch their goal
** encourages quick counter attacks from attacking teams
Coaching Points
- Space = Time = Quality = Success
- Defensively must step to the ball quickly to deny/delay any type of shooting opportunity
- Create scoring chances quickly, have a purpose with each pass

1v1 Rapid Fire
1- Blue Player takes a few touches out of his feet and strikes a ball on goal
2- Immediatly goes and defends the Red Player
3- Once shot is taken, Red player may start his dribble to score on his respective goal
** Continue Rotation, Rapid Fire, Most goals scored = win
Coaching Points
- Dribble at speed (making defender move backwards)
- Only need a yard of space in order to get a shot off
- When striking a ball, work to find the corners (make the GK work)
