Screen 1

Organization:

  • Dimensions: 10x10
  • Objective: Attacking team must complete 5 passes before they switch to a different zone. One defender must press to win the ball. After zone switch, new defender applies pressure. 
  • Each zone switch = 1 point. Total points = in defending team pushups
  • Active: 2 minutes. Rest 90 seconds (active rest/dynamic). 5 sets = 18 minutes

CP's:

Attacking:

  • Options to the left and right of the ball
  • Technical execution of passing/first touch
  • Communication

Defending: 

  • Press the player with the ball
  • Look for interceptions/blocks

  • 1v0 (Blue) - 2v1 (Red) - 3v2 (Blue) - Cross finish 2v1 {varied defender} (Red)
  • Shot clock: 12 seconds 
  • Active: 4 minutes.  Rest 60 seconds. 4 Sets = 25 minutes

  • Scoring: SOG = 1. Goal = 2.  Shot off target -1
  • Maintain think game: one touch finish/offside = one touch max. Neutrals can't score
  • Active 3 minutes. Rest 3/6 minutes (Rotation of teams; winners stay on) Total time = 25 minutes
