1v1 Transition
Attack then defend.
The exercise can be adapted and used as all age groups and encourages a quick transitional from attack to defense.

2v2 Transition game
"Attack - Defend"
Defending team always leaves the field regardless of the outcome. The attacking team always defends against the next team coming in.

Coaching Points:
Defense (the 2)
- Make attackers predictable (2v2)
- All recovery runs should go to block the goal
- First defender denies goal first force play second
- This requires Heart and determination
Offense
- look to exploit the defense as fast as possible.
- If Defense is disorganized score as quickly as possible.
- If defense is set, spread the field and isolate one of the defenders in a 2v1

JL Circuit (15 mins)
Objective:
To improve individual technique, passes, ball control at the first touch, striking the ball, coordination etc.
Description:
A dribbles through the flags. After passing to B, continues to run towards the next line of players. B controls thepass, passes to C, and quickly goes through the obstacles and moves to the next line. C controls, and dribbles towards the touch line and passes to D. D strikes the ball and scores, and moves to A line.
Key Points:
1. Focus on an accurate pass. Use the inside part of the foot to hit the ball.
2. Open body position to receive theball.
3. Keep the ball close to your foot when dribbling.
4. Use the laces of your cleats, or the inside part of
your foot to strike the ball.
