1. a) receive one foot take across body and pass back with other
b) vary surfaces to control - outside, inside
c) play back with outside if you like (quickest way)
2. Work only one player (coach decides the reps on each foot)
a) Receiving player drops a little deeper - must break the line with touch
b) Use different surfaces to 'break the line'

THE SESSION - change the angle of the pass (more realistic)
a) Pass to X1 and follow - defender closes passively
b) X1 to receive (backfoot if possible) and 'break the line'
c) Dribble ball into back of group as shown
KEY POINTS
Quality of pass, check to receive, receive back foot, break the line
NOTE
Remember to rotate players at X1 so that they receive on both feet
Also change passive defenders during rotations

2 teams (reds and Blacks as shown) - 10 footballs each.
working on same principles as before - receiving on the back foot and breaking the line this time allow players to follow their pass and finish with a shot

THE SESSION
2 teams (reds and Blacks as shown) - 2 footballs.
working on same principles as before - receiving on the back foot and breaking the line
OPTION 1. Play the ball between the blacks only and reds only so that when it gets to the end you go back the same way and it is NOT played down the side (A)
with this you can create a competition to see who completes the cycle quickest ala HOT POTATOE
OPTION 2. Blacks and reds play together with tempo and we do play down the side (A)

Progression - add 2 more footballs - no sooner have you passed one ball that you be recieving the next.

2 GATE GAME
THE SESSION:
1v1 Player with the ball has to try and get through one of the gates! Defender has to stay behind the gates and can not come through and tackle the attacker.
Play for 2 minutes, Every time you driblbe through a gate you get 1 point.
If you loose control of the ball the ball goes to the oppistie player to attack
KEY POINTS:
1. Can you move the defender with your body (Disguise)
2. Move the ball to 1 gate then quick change of pace to attack empty gate
3. Creative skills to get defender of balance
PROGRESSION:
Promotion/ Relagation if you win move up if you loose move down
