Instructions:
Players work in paris
1st player dribbles forward to half way
Stops their ball and turns to make eye contact with partner
2nd player can now dribble forward
1st player dribbles back to start
2nd player stops their ball and makes eye contact with 1st player
Process repeats
Coaching Points:
Messi touches - small, pinky toe, head up after each touch
Bottom of foot stops the ball
Head up to make eye contact
Big touch away from body to dribble back
Progressions:
Xavi/U-turn
Player gets to halfway and puts foot on top of ball
Instead of the ball stopping, player rolls the ball 180' back towards where they came from
Ball must stay in front of body

Instructions:
Blue player (defender) passes the ball to white player (attacker)
On attackers touch, the defender can steal the ball
Attacker cannot be in the middle blue zone when they shoot
If defender steals the ball, they can score in either goal
Rotate roles after each
Coaching Points:
Use 1st touch to keep ball moving
Head up to recognize where defender is
Can you score quickly?
If defender covers 1 goal, can you turn to get to the other?
