Encourage Defenders to push when in possesion. Sitting deep creates a very large gap and invites the opposition to counter. DFM players should be creative and push forward when in possesion. They need to be creative and very fit as they require alot of recovery work if possesion is lost. They have a vital role in this formations success if they sit and watch then good attacking football in the oppositions half will be very difficult.

wing backs can overlap as often as possible to create a wide attacking unit.

Strikers should create space with good movement and allow attacking midfielder to run into the gaps. a strong attacker who can hold the ball up along with a quick attacker to make the runs off the last defender can make this formation incredibly affective.

Work in 3s and push high to win the ball back. Move across to reflect the ball away from danger and to force mistakes. Closest to the ball goes and the other two players cover direct passing lines/space and space further away watching near by players. More to follow on off the ball work. I normally work in 3s to improve this.
