Objective:
- Improve passing and receiving decisions to keep possession of the ball.
Organization:
- One large grid with a smaller grid in the middle.
- Two teams of 3 play against each other with one neutral attacker in the small middle grid.
- Team in possesion looks to keep the ball for as long a possible, and use the extra player in middle grid for support.
- Neutral in middle grid cannot be tackled, has limit of two touches max.
- If defending team wins ball, they become attackers
- Play rounds of 3min, and team with ball at end of time wins that round. Play first to whcih ever number round you desire.
-Prog: Free roaming neutral and any attacking player can check into middle grid but still two touch max.
Coaching Points:
- Good weight and accuracy of pass
- Checking shoulder before receving
- Timing of runs to receive a pass
- Receiving on back foot across body
- Looking first to play the ball opposite way from where you received it
- Movment off the ball to new open areas to support receiver
Interval Duration:
- 3min. inertvals with 1 min. recovery

Small Field 2 goals.
Keepers in each net, and balls at the side. Split players in to 2 teams.
Game starts with 1 v 0 - Player attacks the opposition net. He has a chance on net. If he scores his team gets a point. If the keeper makes a save or a goal is scored, then 2 players enter the field from the defending team and must go on the attack as fast as possible in a 2 v 1.
Counter again with 2 more players to make a 3 v 2 in the other direction.
Max should be 6 v 5 otherwise will get too busy. If players take too long going on goal set time limits 15 seconds to get a shot.
Or can not play backwards passed center. Be positive towards goal.

- Two 7v7 games, may need to use subs to rotate players
- 35 yards wide, 55 yards long
