Organisation / Instructions

Four SAQs: 1. Three cones spaced five yards apart; 2. Five poles spread over 10 yard area in slalom style; 3. Low hurdles spread over 10 yard area; 4. Speed ladder

Four players at each station

SAQ1: start at first cone > sprint to second cone > back pedal to first cone > sprint to third cone

SAQ2: slalom around poles staying low to the ground

SAQ3: two-footed jumps over each hurdle

SAQ4: lateral moves through speed ladder ensuring both feet inside each space

Run in 1-2 minute blocks with 30 seconds rest 

Coaching Points

All drills emphasise staying on balls of feet, explosive movement, keeping low (centre of gravity), arms out for balance​
