11/7/2012 – training ground

*Rehab - Chadwick – different training routine to everyone else – running in a straight line

1030 – DD – Warm Up

Backward steps with feet touching the ball

Hamstring kicks

Open and closing the gate

Dribbling into the middle, change of direction, play a one-two with player on the outside

1045 – kicking the ball ahead 10-15 yards and running again, followed by through the poles (endurance & agility). Whole pitch being used

Progressed by adding a player in-between the running stage where a 1-2 is played

Repeated x4

1125 – IW – football tennis

MH – passing and moving drill in a square (clockwise direction)

DD – shuttle runs – dash to a specific coloured cone 5=10 yards to the left back to the centre then right, followed by a jog- progressed by a sprint

11.40: Ostemobor left early and did not complete football tennis or the passing drill (completed 75 minutes of training session)

1210 – high intensity sprints 30 sprints
