Everton Box
Box is 40 long by 20 wide (subject to change on need of group)
Players 1 and 2 both check away (deep check off) and check to the ball on the opposite side from where they start
Players 3 and 4 pass to players 1 and 2 and tell them to turn.
Ball is then passed out to players 5 and 6 who then run the ball to the end of the queue.
Players follow their pass so 3 takes 2 spot, 4 takes 1 spot, 1 goes to 5 and 2 goes to 6.
Sequence continues
Progression 1
the passer tells the player checking off man on instead of turn. Ball is set back and then played to the player in position 5 and 6. Movement is the same
Progression 2
After the player sets the ball back, they can then do an overlap to receive the return pass and then continue the sequence as before.
Progression 3
Add in a give and go at the top of the session so in any variation, when the ball is played up to player 5 and 6, follow that pass and play a give and go around their cone instead of having them simply dribble the ball to the next queue

Details
Body position on receiving
Passing with proper foot
Speed of the pressure
Players should see if any line gets small in numbers and fill where needed

Crossing and Finishing in 2s
Player 1 passes to player 2 on the ground (treating it like a cm switching to an open wing mid)
Player 2 takes their 1st touch hard up the lin through the gate
Player 1 makes a bellowed run through the gate to the penalty spot
Player 2 bellows their run to get their hips square to make their cross into the box (on the ground)
Player 1 times their run, they should be at the gate when player 2 appraoches the ball for the cross so that they are on the move when the cross happens.
Finish with 1 touch.

Crossing Game
2 Goals on 2 18 yard box field (so use the 18 yard box as a guide for half the pitch and then mark off another 18 for the other half of the pitch)
Add in channels on the outside of the playing area for the servers of the ball.
Divide team in half and have each team send 2 players into the attacking channels of the pitch.
Goal for each team is to get wide with the ball before they can score.
The wide channel is split in 2 so that the defensive channel player knows that they cannot go in and interfere with the attacking edge player.
Channel players have 2 touches to get the ball in play either via cross or simple ball to feet.
Many progressions to this
1. ball must go to both edges before you can score
2. player who passes into the channel must take their place
3. if you want to make this more about defending crosses you can focus on the pressure on the cross and/or how you like to mark the players attacking the cross
