Method: 

A goalkeeper, 2 crossers, 2 attackers and 2 defenders

Coaching Points:

Goalkeepers get start position

Communication with defenders in relation to marking, positioning etc

Goalkeeper must assess the flight of the ball

Two decisions can be made:

Decision 1 - Stay on the line and let defenders attack

Decision 2 - Attack the cross and either punch, catch or deflect

Method:

Goalkeeper plays a ball to the white CB who plays to RB and try to work it down the line for a cross

Coaching Points:

Goalkeeper starting position

Communication with defenders about positioning, movement, etc

Decision on the flight of the ball on whether to attack the cross or let defenders deal with the ball

Defenders – 4-2-1 plus a Goalkeeper.

Attackers – 3-3-2

Coaching Points:

Dealing with passes, long and short

Decision making over crosses 

Ability to be available for the back pass and be part of the playing through the thirds process 

Deal with shots from distance and in around the box
