1. Coach serves to GK, who plays into one of the 3 attackers (blue). On GK's release, 2 defenders (red) become active. 3v2 to goal. If defenders win possession, they can counter attack over attcker's start line for a goal.
2. PROGRESSION - To enourage speed of play from attackers, repeat 1. but add a recovering defender who becomes active when attacker who recieves possession takes his first touch.

Speed of play, movement, creativity, timing of the run, weight of pass
Combinations; Give & Go, Overlap, 3rd man run, Post up/Lay off

Set Up:
#6 starts with the ball. Attackers (blue) start with a man on each cone by position (#7, #11, #8, #6).
Back 4 (red) start on edge of 18 yard box. Playing area is from goal line to halfway line, and the width of the 18 yard box. Only time players can leave highligted zone is from an overlap. #6 cannot break past blue line.
1. #6 plays ball into one of 3 midfielders on the cones
2. Mids pass ball between them in any direction.
3. On coach's shout, player in possession pass ball back to coach
4. Coach plays it into #6 to play to targets (#9 or #10)
5. #7 and #11 immediately make their way out wide towards the two cones, as a good start position to provide width.
6. Back 4 live when #6 receives the ball from the coach.
7. 5v4 towards goal, looking for combinations and applying principles of attacking
8. When play is dead, all players leave the area, new players fill each position
9. Repeat
Progress by adding outside backs who will attack and overlap
Add in extra defenders through midfield to go
