Set up: same as prior activity
Timings: 5 x 2 minute blocks, with a 60 second rest in-between.
To Start: The first player (blue) dribbles forwards towards the opposition goal in a 1 vs 0 situation. Upon shooting, the opposition player (red) begins play from the left side
Conditions: The attackers have to dribble into the scoring zones before they can score.
each rally has a time limit of 15 seconds.
Target: The target for the attacking team is to progress the ball with speed into the scoring zone and get a shot on goal, with the shooter quickly transitioning to the defender to attempt to regain the ball.
Challenges: Can the player score in the attacking 1 vs 1, and then regain the ball in the defensive 1 vs 1.
Progressions: Progress to 2 vs 1. With a teammate from the right side joining play to create a 2 vs 1 attacking the goal at the other end. Upon shooting or the ball going out of play, the next attacker (blue) brings the ball into play from the right with a teammate (blue) from the left, with the previous shooter (red) remaining in play now acting as the defender.
The previous shooter in the attacking 2 vs 1 always remains in play to be the defender in defending 2 vs 1. After dropping out of play, players return to their side (blue or red), with dribblers and receivers rotating start positions each time.
Regressions: Increase the time limit to 20 seconds to attack the goalCoaching points:

Commit the opponent (Draw the opponent in before change of speed, change of direction)

Dribbling (technical 1)
Set up: Create a 30m x 15m area as shown in the diagram. Add two 7-a-side nets at each end of the area, and create two end zones approximatley 8m from the end line.
Split the group into two groups of 6, and then split furthur into two teams of 3, with one player acting as the goalkeeper in each end. Add 6 ball's next to each net, for the players to start from.
