During this session we will be using width to stretch defenses in order to crate gaps of penetration centrally
The key areas of focus will be
-using possession to shift and move the defense making them stretch
-recognizing penetration
-speed & tempo of play
-having great team balance & support when attacking

Organization
3 central channels
13 players
Attacking team 6,8,10 (2,3 neutrals)
Defending team 2,3,4,5 or 6 depending on formation
Instructions
-Attacking team must make two penetrating passes through the middle channel of defensive players to the bumper players before the game becomes open
-Attacking team can use the 2,3 wing backs to keep possession but not penetrate round the out sides.
-If the defense steels they are looking to attack the wide target gates and can score with a pass or dribble to penetrate, they can also use 2,3 in transition. if the attacking team wins the ball back they can go to goal to score.
-Bumper players will rotate round after the two passes are made or the defense steels and become 6,6,8 for the next game

-Use width to stretch defensive line
-Speed and tempo of play to get quicker in the final third
-Recognizing gaps of penetration
-Quick in transition
-6 to be consistent outlet for the ball
-8 to provide balance in support
-10 always looking for penetration

-Attacking team has to make 4 passes then penetrate through the middle grid to go to goal and score
-Attacking team can use wide players 2,3 to make passes
-Defending team can steal and transition to opposition gate and can also use 2,3 to score

-Recognizing gaps of penetration
-6's to be out let to get the ball wide
-8 to provide balance in support
-10 always looking for penetration
-9 to stay on side looking to break and make runs in behind
-9 to play as a decoy
