3 teams of 5
1 or 2 GK with big goals
Activity:
5v5 in the middle with third team on outside as neutrals
After 5 internal passes, team in possession can attack either goal.
Progression:
+ Make game directional
+ Enforce offside (where endline of central grid is offside line)
Coaching Points:
~ Difference in movement off ball: possession vs penetration
~ Defenders will recover towards goal so where we can we get that is dangerous? (endline)
~ Runs in box to finish off endline cross (opposite movement)

P1: Attackers & Defenders stuck in their grids
P2: 1 attacker can join in other grid
P3: 2 attackers can join in and 1 defender can recover
P4: No restrictions (4v4)
Coaching Points:
C1: Opposite movement to create space
C2: Creating width (both inside and outside)
C3: Introduce various movements (#2 overlap, #9/10 diagonal runs)
C4: Cues of when to support play versus make forward runs

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Setup:
2 teams of 8: 1-1-3-3 (one outside back) vs. 1-4-3
60x50 field
Activity:
Point system: Change point of attack (wide channel to wide channel) = 1 point; cross from endline = 2 points; goal = 3 points
(can combine points so scoring off endline cross is 5 points)
Coaching Points:
~ Forward runs when player on ball has time and space
~ Create overloads out wide in order to get to endline
~ Get as deep as possible when crossing

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Intervals:
2 min work + 1 min rest x 6 reps = 18 min
Setup:
3 teams
18 yard box with big goal and GK
Activity:
3v3 in the box with 3 neutrals on outside of 18 yard box.
Once possession is won, must play through a neutral before going to goal.
Coaching Points:
~ When ball goes wide, move opposite of the ball before making run in front of defender
~ Combinations inside the box
~ Identifying when to take defender on the dribble (1v1)
