PASSING SQUARE;
- Start with simple passing around the square & following the pass, get the players moving.
- advance to the short 1-2 and send pass each time.
- advance to pictured short and long pass, with players moving circular between stations.

Passing and Receiving Square
Set-up as shown
Player A and C start simultaneously by passing into central player.
Central players receive and pass into B and D respectively.
Players B and D receive and pass into A and C respectively.
Continue sequence as player follow their pass.

Technical Passing Pattern (15 mins)
Organization:
1. Set up as shown (18x18yds)
2. 8 players per grid.
3. Plenty of balls.
Instructions:
1. Players perform technical pattern shown.
2. Both sides play simulatneously.
3. FOUR INTERVALS OF 2 MINUTES.
Coaching Points:
1. Timing of movement to create separation from defender. (Eye contact with opposite CM)
2. Ability to pass the ball with purpose (correct foot to speed of the play)
3. Begin working on Rhythm of play and progress to adding Tempo to pattern.
