Organization:
Set up 3yd boxes. Players in pairs, one inside the box, server with a ball outside the box.
Instructions:
Player in the box touches a cone, returns and calls for the service. Server tosses the ball lightly for a return. Switch players every minute Practice:
-Trapping
-Inside foot cushioned volley
-Thigh, inside foot
-Chest, inside foot

Progressions:
Make it a competition, your team gets a point for each successful toss-volley-catch. Most in a minute wins.

Organization:
1.10 x 30 yard area with 2 x 5 yard area either end, set up as shown
2.Players work in teams
3.One ball per team
Instructions:
1. Players must look to loft the ball into their partner’s area
2. Their partner must attempt to control the ball without leaving their area
3. If the ball lands in the box, the player that lofted it in gets a point
4. If the receiver can control the ball inside the box with 1 touch, they also receive a point

Organization
Three teams of four players, each set up in their own zone.
1 ball
20 x 50 grid, two zones of 20x20, middle zone is 20x10
Instructions:
1. White team at one end must make 3 consecutive passes before looking to switch the ball to the yellow team in the opposite end zone.
2. If the ball is intercepted by the blue team in the middle, the team that lost the ball switches into the middle.
3. Players should attempt to loft the ball to the other side, but can continue play if the ball is played on the ground to the other side
4. 1 point for a completed pass, 3 points if the pass is lofted and successfully received from the air.
Coaching Points:
1. Find the passing lanes
2. Through or over?
3. Use a double pass from a teammate to set up an easier lofted ball
4. Get in line with the ball
5. Selection of surface
Progressions/Regressions:
1. Increase/decrease size of areas
2. Allow another player in the middle to enter the zone and defend

Instructions:
Even teams. One server and GK from each team. Play three corners then switch attack/defense. Attacking team scores on big goal, defending team scores by passing through red gates. Double points for goals/clearances played on the volley.

Instructions:
Field players are 5v5+1 with GKs. There are also 4 neutral bumpers, 1 on either side of each goal. Neutral bumpers have 2 seconds to pick up the ball and throw it into the box to an on-running attacker. Play 3 minute games, first to 2 wins. Goals scored from balls in the air count double.

Organization:

Instructions:
The ball is served from the hands.
Round 1. Receiving player makes a cushioned volley to the third player, who catches it. Repeat.
Round 2. Receiving player makes a cushioned volley to the third player, who volleys it to the original server. Repeat 5 times, then change server.
Round 3. Before the servers throw the ball they call out a number 1, 2 or 3, receiving player has that number of touches to control the ball and play to the third player, e.g. One would be a cushion volley to third player, two would be one touch control and pass, three would be two touches to control and pass
Coaching Points:
1. On toes
2. Get into line with the ball
3. Select appropriate surface
4. Keep ankle locked
Progressions:
1. P - Play 2, 3, or 4 so that players must now take at least two touches of the ball
2. R - Allow the ball to touch the floor
3. R - Reduce the serving distance
4. R - Players must complete the number of touches before catching the ball not passing the ball
5. R - Work in pairs, receiver volleys back to server in one touch
