Set up: 3 gates and a starting cone. Attackers try to dribble through gates. Red gates are 1 point and Purple gate is 2 points.
# of Players: 1-5
Coaching Points: Encourage creativity. Skill moves and feints. No kicking and chasing... player must have control when going through gate.
Progressions: Open it up a bit. Have both players start behind the purple gate. Play a ball into the box and whoever gets there first is the attacker. This is great because the attacker will likely pick the ball up with the back to the gates. Can they beat a defender when their back is to them?
