Side to side movement Drills

SAQ Stations (quickness) - 50 seconds per task


Drill # 1 - Side to side roll.  GK picks it up and gives it back to the server. (2 balls needed) 

Drill # 2 - Pick up to one side/ Dive to other side -  Server rolls easy to both sides (2 balls) (Both sides)

Drill # 3 - Place stationary ball next to one side, server holds the other ball.  GK dives to one and saves

                a high ball to the other side.  repeat for 50 seconds.  (Both sides)

Drill # 1 - Server rolls to the middle for GK to do a SCOOP / Roll to the side to do a LOW DIVE/ Throw high for a CROSS

Drill # 2 - Same drill but the Scoop should be served as a bouncing ball and the DIVE should be out of the air.

               1) Crossover to opposite post 

               2) Sprint diagonal to next cone

               3) Crossover to opposite cone

               4) Crossover to get back to the crossbar

Drill # 2 - GK will move across the goal mouth. (Beat an average time)

               1) Sprint forward to cone

               2) Crossover to crossbar

               3) Sprint forward to cone

               4) Crossover to crossbar                                                                  

Drill # 2 - Same drill but the Scoop should be served as a bouncing ball and the DIVE should be out of the air.
