Objective to continue the idea of possession to penetrate. In the small activity, players will do techincal work with the ball and work on their speed/agility. The rest of the session is technical/tactical with the emphasis on 4-3-3.

Duration 15 minutes; intensity medium/high 5 intervals 2:1 work ratio
Actions on both side of the grid
Players run with the ball, dribble right and sprint to the other side (same going left)
Players run with the ball, pass back, and sprint to the other sides
Players run with the ball, pass back, open right and receive the ball, finish with sprinting to the other side. (same going left)
Coaching points - ball at your foot, dribble the cone, firm pass, open your hips, see the field.

3 intervals; 8:2 work rate
Players in blue are in their position keeping possession of the ball. As the red players win the ball, their job is to send a pass to their GK, and keep possession in their rectangle. Through out the possession players are responsible to stay in their position.
Blue has #1; #2; #3; #4; #5; #6; #8; and #10. Red has #1; #6; #8; #10; #11; #7; #9.
Coaching point: responsibilities on the field, transition, ball recovery, ability to keep possession in order to make the right decisions.
