Description
- The red team attacks first making 5 passes in their half.
- When they have made their last pass 2 blue players enter the pitch as defenders.
- Reds have to pass the ball around to create a pass where a red player recieves it inside the red zone.
- If blue win the ball they can take the ball to the blue area as reds try to win the ball back from them.
- The play is then restarted with the blues now attacking.
- A pass into the target zone gets the team 1 point.
Coaching Points
- Weight and accuracy of the passes been made.
- Number of touches taken - ball out of feet and set up with one touch.
- Reduce time - get the ball away and move it quicker to reduce the time defenders have to react and try win the ball (higher success rate)
Coach Tips
Stop play and enforce correct technique where possible and show areas where the play could have been successful and allow players to try get the correct outcome from the play.

Description
- In pairs passing the ball
- Moving around the area creating different passing angles and space for passes.
Coaching points
- Approach - where is the ball and is it moving.
- Standing foot - plant it correctly as this forms the base for your balance as you strike the ball.
- Ball contact - where to strike the ball and different outcomes.
- Weight and accuracy - will the pass get there? pass to feet and easy to control.
