Organisation (Practice Layout & Transition)
This SSG takes place in a 25m x 35m box with a mini-goal positioned centrally at each end
The coach should position himself at pitchside in a central area with a good supply of balls.
Play starts with a ball played into the area by the coach
The object is to score a goal by constructing moves with as many passes as possible, as passes = points !
A point is given for each pass made before scoring (4 passes = points)
This game encourages passing as points are awarded for the number of passes a team makes without the opposition touching the ball before scoring.
Players who hold the ball or don't like to pass are encouraged to do so to increase the points tally.

SSG - Passes = Points (20 mins)
Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Progression 1 - implement 1 or 2 touches to increase passing tempo
Progression 2 - place a time limit on scoring once in possession (ie 10 seconds to score) which will encourage quick passing
Regression 1 - increase the pitch size
Regression 2 - Use an end zone instead of mini goals
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
Challenge defending team to win ball back in 6 seconds
Challenge team in possession to utilise every player before scoring
As a condition, require all teams to make a minimum of 3 passes before attempting to score.
Target is to score after accumulating as many consecutive passes as possible
This will encourage players to pass quickly, but help with decision making, as they have to decide whether to try for more points or take the first scoring opportunity and bank the points
