Moment of the Game:
When we win possession in central areas in our defensive half, can we quickly play wide to create space and move into attack?

Organization:
- Same as before.
Instructions:
- 6v3 rondo (adjust to #'s) with 1 team defending.
- Defending team not allowed to defend in zones.
- 2 attacking teams combine to pass and move into wide zones through central zones.
- Player must leave zone after pass.
- The team that loses possession moves to middle.
- First team with combined total (NOT CONSECUTIVE) of 50 passes wins.
Coaching Points/Questions:
- QUALITY OF PASS:

---- Communication - Is my teammate aware and ready to receive?
---- Can I play to his/her back foot?
- QUALITY OF MOVEMENT:
---- Movement, can I pass then quickly move to find supporting position to receive?

---- Scanning, can I take a "picture" of defensive and attacking positions to have idea of where to play before receiving?
---- Can I take first touch to next option? At very minimum, away from pressure?
- SPEED OF PLAY:
- Can we play at game speed?
- Can we sustain high energy & focus?
Regressions/Progressions:
R1 - Remove a defender.
P1 - Defenders can now defend in zones.

Organization:
- As shown with 5x5 square in middle of field.
- Wide areas designated between white lines and green cones(touchlines)
- 2v2 in Middle Square, then full 6v6 w/ GK's.
Instructions:
- Play always starts with 2v2 (AM & ST) for possession in the middle square, with CB, LM, & RM positioned as shown.
- Players on each cone, ball is played into middle and players fight to win possession and immediately play wide or back.
- Goals = 3 points if wide areas (between white lines and green cones) used in build up / attack.
- Goals = 1 point if wide areas not used.

Intro.
Organization:
-3 teams of 3/4(adjust for #'s), each with a ball.
- 9x(5x5) squares in 3 channels as shown - 3 wide left/3 wide right/3 central.
- Adjust size of squares to appropriate level (ie smaller for technical players, larger for less technical)
Instructions:
- Directional activity to wide squares via central squares.
- Teams connect 3 squares (1 from each channel) as quickly as possible for 1 pt.
- No two players can occupy same square.
- No defending, but if your team's pass hits another ball/player reset pts. to zero.
- Team with most pts. in 90 seconds wins.
