II. 4v6+2 | 5 zone game (10:05-10:20am)

III. 5v6+2 | Attack v Defense (10:25-10:45am)

IV. 6v6 w/ GK's | SSG (10:50-11:05am)

 

  • Objective - Improve body shape receiving to play forward - movement off the ball to enhance receiving angles of 1st and 2nd Attacker (Play Forward & Play Back). Defending actions on and off the ball - First defender and 2nd defender (Marking, tracking, passing on) - high level of communication.

  • Objective: Develop 1v1 Saving Technique Execution, Reading, & Decision Making for Situationally Effective Area Defense.

4v6+2 | 5 Zone Game (15 mins)

II. 4v6+2 |  5 zone game (10:05-10:20am)

-Defenders can't leave zone. Must track or pass on attacking player as they enter or leave/ pass through their zone.

-Attackers can only have max. of 2 players in 1 zone at a time, and can move between zones.

-If an attacking player leaves their zone, they must pass on the player to the defender in the next zone.

-Objective is for the attacking team to find the target player, then finish with one touch into one of the 3 small goals.

-Offside will be played using defensive line or half way line.

-If defending team (Blue) win the ball they can use the N players (yellow) to score in opposite counter goals.

  • Utilizing Width and Depth to allow us to play forward (2nd attacker 1 & 2)
  • 1st Defender | Block and press the ball
  • 2nd Defender | Cover and defend behind

  • Communication and recognition to pass on players
  • Tracking & contact - reward hard work with winning ball or impacting play

III. 5v6+1 | Attack v Defense (10:25-10:45am)

- Zones in place to give players visual indicators of defending zones and distances to cover, track, or pass on attacking player

-Attackers can move freely though zones, but should always occupy 4/5 zones at all times.

-Defenders can move freely through zones, but should always occupy 4/5 zones, and recognize and be aware of moments to track or pass on attacker so do not get pulled out of position.

-Attacking team going to big goal. Defending team in transition look for N target and score in one of 3 small counter goals.
