Organisation:
Breaking lines, players are divided into 2teams of 6.3 players from each team locked in each zone, players can't movefrom their zones to begin with.Teams get a point if they can make a pass into their team mates inthe opposite zone.Players can play through around or over.2 mins.
Progressions:
1) 1 opposition player can go into the box where the ball is to pressthe ball.
2) Players can break lines by dribbling or RWTB, if a player travels intothe opposite box then a team mate must replace him.
Coaching Points:
Ball speed, play through around or over.Width & depth in possession, players to be on different lines.Players away from the ball to find space & ideally between 2 players tomake passing lanes.Body shape to play forward on your first touch.Detail of pass to be drilled in through the lines, use laces technique over big distances.Take risks to break lines, awareness to see the gaps/pockets before receiving the ball.Tempo to break lines, if opposition have been split then look to play 1 touch back through.If opposition are set in good defensive positions then patient quick passes to find spaces.Disguised passes to penetrate through the block.When a DF comes out to press then use short short passes before looking for the switch longer pass to penetrate.Sets 1 touch to allow for a first time pass to penetrate.Passes passes passes!Defend together on a string, shuffle across together.Body position to be front on as a big target to protect the space.Closest player presses the ball, press as the ball travels.

Organisation:
Breaking out into the final third SSG, players aredivided into 2 teams.5vs5/6vs6 depending on numbers with pitch divided into thirds forreference points.Reds begin by scoring in one target goal & Yellows score in the other target goal.1vs1 in the attacking thirds & the rest of the players are in themiddle third, to score ball has to be either a through ball into thefinal third or a pass into the ST & a team mate can join in to make2vs1 to score.3 mins
Progressions:
1) Can create 3vs2 in the final thirds now.
2) Free play where players can play anywhere on the pitch, 1 goalfor normal goal & 2 goals for a goal scored by a killer pass into thefinal third.
Coaching Points:
Ball speed, play through around or over.Width & depth in possession to open up passing lanes into the final third.Movement to playing between the lines, body position to turn on your first touch.Vary surfaces of your foot when making killer passes to disguise the passes.Awareness to see the picture early to execute the killer pass.Vary technique of killer passes e.g. drilled, lofted, curved etc.Using overloads to find the killer passes, drive & slide!Look at the target, eyes on the ball.Angle of approach, standing foot planted comfortably alongside the ball.Strike the centre of the ball, firm locked ankle.Follow through towards target for pass to be smooth.Goals goals goals

Killer passes & Welsh Way moves warm up,players are divided into 2 groups.Reds have a ball each & dribble around the square performingWelsh Way moves, Yellows have 2 balls between them & have topass to each other in between 2 players to score a point. Reds geta point each time they perform a Welsh Way move between 2players.1 min.
Progressions:
1) Vary parts of your feet to play killer passes between 2 players.
2) 1 touch killer passes between 2 players gives you 2 points.
Coaching Points:
