WHAT: Proper shot stopping technique and diving technique in order to minimize ability for the other team to score.

Organization:
- 2 18x36 yard grids with normal size goals at either end
Instructions:
- 2v2 in each grid, with two attackers and one defender and GK
-Attackers are attempting to score on goal
-If defender wins the ball, play restarts with the two attackers
Coaching Points:
-Shot stopping and diving technique as listed before
- GK working with angle arc and ball line

Organization:
- 2 20x40 yard grids with normal size goals at either end
Instructions:
- 3v3 in each grid, with 3 attackers playing against 2 defenders and one GK.
-Attackers attempting to score on goal. If GK or defenders win the ball, they can score by dribbling to either of the three yellow counter flags.
Coaching Points:
- Same technique as listed before
- GK working with ball line and angle arc

Warm-Up (10 mins)
Organization:
- Pass and move warmup with the team including goalkeeper's in 18 yard box.
Instructions:
- Players pass and move inside the 18 yard box. When player sees the keeper, they will play the ball into the keeper's hands to encourage working on different shot-stopping techniques.
-Players will progress to then shooting the ball at either side of the keeper to encourage working on their diving technique
-When the keeper receives the ball, they will then play out to an open teammate.
Coaching Points:
-Get behind the ball
- Fingers pointed down for basket catch, bringing ball up to chest with arms cupping the ball to the chest
-Contour catch, arms relaxed and fingers pointed up with thumb and index almost touching. Bringing the ball to the chest with arms cupping the ball
-Low dive, first touching the ball and landing on side. Lower arm is fully extended, and diving out at ball. Lower hand behind the ball, upper hand on top
- Mid-High dive, arms fully extended, bring ball to groung as ball touches ground first, dive out at ball
